What we do
Growth Groups
Since the very earliest days of the church, Christians have met in each others homes to pray, study God's Word, praise Him, eat together, and support each other through good times and bad.
It's no different today and most of us at Christ Church Endcliffe meet within growth groups each week.
Growth groups are:
- groups of 8-12 people who meet weekly in someone's home.
- where we study the Bible - God's living Word to all of us - to help us understand more about His character, His eternal strategy and to help us grow as Christians.
- where we pray together, developing and deepening our prayer life.
- where we can encourage and spur each other on within our lives when life is going well, and when life is not so good.
- where we can share together - food, time and each other.
- where we can invite friends who want to hear more about Jesus's claims about himself.
It's very easy to come along to Sunday services and feel uninvolved - meeting within a Growth Group will change that. They are the engine room of the church family. Do join one - speak to Rob Bridgewater to get stuck in.
