Spiritual MOT

"Search me, O God, and know my heart" (Ps 139)
How easy it is to go through life without stopping to think, to reflect and to pray!
This 'Spiritual MOT' is designed to help you do just that. At Christ Church Endcliffe we send one out to everyone in the church family on their birthday, but it's good for any time of life!
The purpose of these questions is to help you to look back over what God has been doing in your life, to assess honestly how your faith impacts the different areas of your life, and to think through how you could best be serving God.
There are certain assumptions behind it:
- that our faith and relationship with God is the most important thing in life;
- that God is interested in every part of our lives, not just what we do at church;
- that self-assessment is hard!
Particularly with that last point in mind, you may well find it useful to meet up with a close Christian friend after you've filled in the MOT, so that they can help you to think things through and to come up with some 'action points' for the year ahead.
